Hi Stephanie, instead of using ChatGPT I use an app called Vinst. It allows me to store and share all of my recipes from Food52, and it has a built in ChatGPT that can adjust/tweak recipes, or just answer my questions. The app is free, you should check it out
I find it useful when it comes to meal prep and nutrition. You can take a series of pictures of the nutrition labels of your ingredients, and then describe how much of each was added (I go by grams as much as possible for maximum accuracy) , and ask it for a nutrition breakdown including micronutrients, and it will give you an exact breakdown of the resulting dish. You can also inform it of the final weight of your dish, and how much was added to each meal prep container, and it will give you an exact breakdown per serving.
I use AI in some form for basic information about ingredients when building a recipe or a dish.
For example - * average size of produce sold in supermarkets * once I have the average size, I also look for weight and nutritional information * once the dish is finished, I look for advice on duration and safe keeping instructions (where, how long, any special wrapping instrustions).
