I have a piece of fresh salmon been in the freezer for 6 months. Defrosted it today. Too tired to cook now. Can put in the fridge?

Yes defrosted salmon is ok for 1-2 days in the fridge.
I would cook it sooner rather than later (to get most flavor and minimize risk of bacteria).
